I recently visited Malmo for three days, the home of Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Zlatan’s achievements have not only been recognised in the form of a statue outside the Friends Arena in Sweden but there’s also a football court named after him only a few hundred metres away from where he grew up.
I made the visit over to Malmo for a TV special on Zlatan and decided to film a vlog of the trip as well. This way you guys can take a look at everything I got up too! I went to the Swedebank Stadium, home of Malmo FC in freestyle fashion, played football on Zlatan court, freestyled around the city and also got involved with all the local youngsters.
I had an excellent trip and I hope you all enjoy the vlog, thank you for watching!
Just before you go here are Three things that we can learn from Zlatan:
Confidence- Whatever you think about Zlatan you can’t deny his inner confidence that has enabled him to score goals in all the top leagues in the world.
Using your strengths- Zlatan uses his strengths to his advantage. One thing that I feel he posses over other players is his flexibility which undoubtedly comes from his martial arts background.
Leadership- Zlatan is a leader! He is a born winner with an unparalleled thirst for success and he has proved this playing for some of the worlds greatest ever teams. I love this quote from Ryan Giggs-
“He’s someone who, as a player, you see him walk into the dressing room and you see a winner, you see a character and you’re seeing a bit of class. As a team-mate it lifts you. These are the signings that will lift the Manchester United team and that’s what you want.”
